The Mojo Express incorporates discreet covers and some personal style that brings it bang up to date.
The overall sound still underlines the Bands apparent love of rock, blues, funk and soul. There are
echoes of Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimi Hendrix in their music.The sounds are generally funky,
bar roomy and hard edged. Besides original tunes ,they play some excellent covered songs from rare soul,
blues, rock tracks; but never “as is” but individually rearranged.
Just like Muddy Waters had his Mojo working,
they try to lay down some tracks, to bring their blues across & to fullfill the the need of a roots-orientated longing...
